KENTA SUZUE joined Haynes Beffel & Wolfeld LLP as Of Counsel in February 2004. Prior to joining Haynes Beffel & Wolfeld LLP, Mr. Suzue was an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Mr. Suzue was also patent counsel at Sun Microsystems, Inc.
Mr. Suzue specializes in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, and the analysis of the scope and validity of patents. Mr. Suzue’s representative patent prosecution and counseling matters span a range of technologies including software, optical and wired networks, wireless communications, semiconductors, digital signal processing, analog and digital circuits, and computer architecture.
Educational Background
Mr. Suzue holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi; and a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, Cum Laude.

Mr. Suzue is a member of the State Bar of California, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
